"Hero/Heroine" is a single taken from rock/pop band Boys Like Girls' eponymous debut album. It was originally released as the first single, along with a music video, but it did not chart.
However, following the success of "The Great Escape", the band decided to re-release the song and premiered a new video for it on TRL during November, 2007.
The video for this song starts with a bunch of teens creating a fortress out of mattresses in the forest. As soon as the structure is complete a wild party begins. We follow one boy (Chase Dodds the drummer of Classic Addict) who is tallying on his arm the amout of girls he has kissed with repeated cut-scenes to the band playing.
One of the guitarists hands his guitar off to small boy and Jordan Pundik hands his mic to Hayley Williams, the lead singer of Paramore. We then return to our boy who sees Hayley and attempts to make his move. When he does, she finds the tally marks on his arm and slaps him to the floor. She, and a bunch of other girls, tape him to a tree and write the words "Kiss Me" across his chest.

With Bend To Break, Fred Mascherino--known for his work as lead guitarist and co-vocalist/songwriter for Taking Back Sunday--has turned out one of the most exhilarating and gutsy solo projects in years.
